Greetings friends and fellow dancers.

They say Rochester is leading the snowfall competition. While the snow has been leaving almost as fast as it’s been coming which means we’re having a great (or is that awful) pothole season, we’ve had only a couple of dances canceled. Let’s hope that continues so we can continue with all the great dances.

March 28th the Callers group will have their Spring Dance. It’s a great time to meet other dancers, dance to many different callers and cuers, and help support the callers.

The 62nd Dance-O-Rama will be May 2, 2020 at the Perinton Recreation Center 1350 Turk Hill Rd., Fairport, NY. This is a Federation wide event. While it marks graduation for our newer dancers, it is also an opportunity for those from around the area that don’t often get to see each other to come together and dance. The event starts at 2:00 pm and runs until 9:45 pm. Out of town caller Jonathan Weiner will be there as well as Gary Bubel, Gil Porter, and myself. Cuers will be Alice Bubel and Eileen Webster. There is still plenty of dancing being planned for the summer including national callers Betsy Gotta, Mike Sikorsky, and Bill Harrison. This fall will see several open houses as well as our welcome back Fall Friendship Ball being planned for September 19, 2020.
