Hello and welcome,

Thank you for visiting our updated Rochester Area Federation Web Site! We hope you will enjoy browsing through the different areas of information we have tried to make accessible. We have provided information regarding area wide dancing schedules, Federation officers, Federation meeting dates and minutes from past meetings. We have also included easy access to our dancing community news-magazine, the Promenader.

The Promenader is full of dancing information and club news. You can see at a glance “Special Dances” coming up, and with just one or two clicks you can sort dance schedules out by club, caller/cuer, day of the week, and other sorting options. Each club in the area that chooses has submitted “Club News” letting you know what has been happening and what is coming in the near future, at their club. You can also catch up on news that touches our dancing community through the Photos and Features section.

So I hope you take your time, and feel free to peruse through each section of the web site. I am sure you find the some helpful information and maybe even find some new and interesting pieces of information. Our hope is that this will open up information for people looking into Modern Western Square Dancing for the first time or visiting our area for the first time, help our newer dancers to learn and explore a little more, and keep all of our experienced dancers up to date on all that the Rochester Area Federation has to offer!
