We welcome 2021 with hope to see our dancing family back together on the dance floor as the Summer weather returns. The current priority on the Covid vaccine roll out is good news and provides thoughts of returning to some normalcy.

We currently anticipate our clubs could restart in Sept 2021. The primary focus will be to get our dancers back to the dance floor.

We officially cancelled the DOR dance scheduled for May 1st 2021 at the January RAF meeting. We are now planning a DORish Dance for the Fall to follow the RAF summer dances. We are looking for an outside location such as, open sided pavilions, tent, etc. Please send us any recommendations you have.

We started a virtual dance program for our dancers in December. Using Zoom, we are keeping our local callers & cuers and dancers stay connected. We are averaging at least 20 dancers per session.

We have two virtual square dances and one virtual round dance scheduled each month from January to June 2021. If you haven’t joined one of the sessions yet we hope you do. Whether you dance or watch it is so much fun to hear our local callers & cuers calling live. The zoom sessions are kept open after the dance as long as participants want to socialize.
