About Us
The Batavia Silver Stars dance Mainstream, Plus and Rounds in a 2x2 format on Monday evenings in Batavia, at the VA Medical Center, 222 Richmond Avenue, Building #4 (upstairs), Batavia, NY, starting at 7:00pm. Our class is held from 7 to 8:30pm and plus dance is from 8:30 to 9:00pm. Our callers are Gary and Alice Bubel from May 15th to Nov 15th and Denny Frey from Nov 16th to May 14th.

The year 2024 was a banner year for Batavia Silver Stars. We graduated a class of five in April, 2024 and started a new class of nine in September of 2024. Two of our members were awarded the Circle of Service Award for their significant contribution to the Square and Round Dance Community. Congratulations Lucy Pietrzykowski and Joann Baxter. We were also able to start a round dance class May through November, 30 minutes before our regular weekly dance. Looking to 2025 we will be holding our Dyngus Day Dance on April 21, 2025 (Everyone is Polish on Dyngus Day!) and our very popular free Name Tag Dance in August.
