Hey, there are 30 people signed up for the Red Wings AAA ball game on Saturday, July 18th, at 6:45 pm. Because we will have a large group, the ballpark will post “Cloverleaf Squares” on its screens. Let’s go, Wings, beat the “Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp.” For people who paid for tickets, meet Eileen Webster in front of the Morrie Silver statue at the main gate beginning at 5:45 pm.

There is some action in Lyons, New York. At the Peppermint Festival downtown Lyons, Ron Brown will call for a square of tractors. Visit the festival booths, watch the tractors, and then dance in the streets with Ron. The tractors will square up at 2:00 pm.

The Rochester Federation is co-sponsoring our dance on Sunday, July 19th, 2026. It will be a Mainstream dance where all the recent class graduates can dance. The federation is subsidizing our guest fee, so all dancers pay $5. The Federation “Summer Mainstream Dance” with Gary and Alice Bubel will start at 7:00 pm and end at 9:00 pm at our usual summer venue (Henrietta Fire Co. no. 1, 3129 E. Henrietta Rd., Henrietta, NY).

There will be a Square Dance Cancer Benefit dance for dancer Rick Pratt, Saturday, July 25, from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm at the Batavia First Presbyterian Church (300 E Main Street, Batavia, NY). Gary and Alice Bubel, Jim Gotta, Mike Callahan, Harry Slocum, and Ray Tompkins will be leading the dancing. Rick and his wife, Judy, have recently begun working on their combined calling skills.
